One of those posts where I’m sure it’s been shared, and reblogged a million times already - but I haven’t been to the dashboard today, and this is amazing, and I could watch it for the next 20 minutes, over and over again…

I am in love with this guy. He is so heartfelt, so genuine, so innovative…thanks for sharing this, it is awesome to see it again. And those of you who still haven’t seen In The Heights, go see it!

I am so happy for him! It was so cute how happy he looked during their performance. He couldn’t stop smiling! I’m seeing the show again tomorrow night. I’m betting it’s going to be pretty crazy.

There is not much I hate more than someone (or fashion magazines) proclaiming something as “in” or “out.” It’s cool to be inspired by fashions that you see in magazines and on runways, but wear what you like, not what someone told you you should like.

This is all of the plastic, cardboard, and paper required to deliver me two CDs (shipped from across the country) because they weren’t available DRM-free anywhere.

I ripped the CDs into iTunes. I’ll probably never take them out of their cases again.

I saw a band at an Earth Day festival that sold their music on thumb drives instead of CDs because most people upload music to their computers and never touch the CD again. The thumb drives are reusable and eliminate waste. More bands should do that.

Do you ever have something you’re “saving” to wear and then forget why you were saving it? This is one such skirt. I bought it back in February and wanted to wear it on a crisp spring day. Since all my laundry still needs picked up, this will work. Sometimes lately I feel like I’m dressing a little too old. Do I look 25? 35?

Wow! I can’t believe it either. I used to love taking trips here too.

I remember driving by sometime in the last five years and thinking about how run down it looked. I guess when you’re 8 or 9, a run-down castle is a castle all the same.

I saw this for the second time tonight. I love it. The Latin and hip-hop music are fantastic and the choreography is amazing. Everyone can relate to some part of the story. Lin-Manuel Miranda started writing it in when he was 19 and now it’s nominated for 13 Tonys. Go see it before it wins every one of them.

Most people have that one actor/artist/author/athlete that if they ever had the chance to see or meet them, would go weak in the knees. For me, that person has always been Tim Robbins. I couldn’t begin to explain where my adoration for him came from, or when exactly it started. Just trust me that it runs deep, really deep. I’ve “almost” met him a few times in my life but it’s always been in the most painfully ironic ways. For example, when I was living in LA, I interned for an Australian director named Phillip Noyce. Two months after I finished interning for him, Tim signed on to be in his next film, Catch a Fire. It was enough for me to briefly consider moving back to LA and trying to get work on the film. Since moving to New York, I’ve frequented the bar Tim owns on the LES. A few times he’s been there when I have been, but he’s always in the VIP room, and we’ve never crossed paths.

Last night, Tim and Susan Sarandon were at the Flight of the Conchords show. If I had been sitting last night where I sat for the show the night before, I would have been in the seat next to Tim. After the show, they stayed around, I assume to meet Bret and Jemaine. For a few minutes, I was standing a maybe 4 feet from him. And I crumbled under the experience. I was frozen. If I ever needed confidance in my life, it was then, and I had none. I could barely even look at him. I was a wreck. And then we left. My only saving grace was that I had managed to snap a photo with my camera phone, only to find out later that it didn’t save.

I know I sound ridiculous to anyone reading this. How could you feel so strongly for someone you’ve never met? But it is what it is. I barely slept last night, feeling like I missed my one opportunity. But what I am learning from living in New York, is that if you run into someone once, it’s surprisingly likely that you’ll run into them again. And maybe I’ll be better prepared next time. It reminds me when I met my #2, Wes Anderson, a few months ago. The only words I could get out of my mouth were “I’m honor.”

So needless to say, I am in a slight depression this morning, that I will work my way out of by the end of the day. Please just promise me, that if you ever find yourself sitting next to Tim at a restaurant, or in line behind him at the movies, that you will call me, and give me my second chance.

I saw BAM Margera on Sunday night at Buckley’s Tavern and I had meet him before while he was directing a video for HIM at a museum I use to work for…so yes you will meet Tim again! Do not fear! But please note, BAM is not my MAIN celebrity. Haha!

Bam was at Buckley’s?! Haha that is great. I can’t really see him fitting in with all those Greenville/Centreville folk.

This oneis my favorite of the collection for $79. I would wear this with my white Nicolita bottoms and throw in a blue or red belt (as opposed to the gold it came with). Click here to see what I’m talking about.

I am currently writing from the Bolt Bus on my way from the city to Philadelphia. So far, so good! And it was only $7. Unfortunately it doesn’t go directly to Wilmington, so I have to take the train from Philly to Delaware.
